We had some rather upsetting news this morning. When Dave took his phone out of his pocket, I noticed a packet of cigarettes which I immediately questioned him about. He tried to discard the evidence on the floor but I caught him red handed and confiscated 2 lighters and 2 cigarettes.
Keith and I then spoke to Dave of our upset in knowing that he was smoking again, after telling us a couple of weeks ago he was trying to quit. We expressed our pain at the fact he didn't approach us to let us know he was being tempted into smoking again.
He managed to find the cigarettes again when I was out of the room, but fortunately I managed to drag him back in from outdoors (kicking and screaming) without lighting up the devils own cancer stick. I'm not convinced he will not sneak outside and have one behind our backs however.
Dave made the tea at 13:23.
The thing that hurst the most was the lying.
